You’re incorrect on the Thrive HDMI.
Thrive has a full-HDMI interface (not micro)
The Fire lack of 3rd party Android apps is a deal breaker for me.

The 10.1″ Thrive has full HDMI and USB, the 7″ has only mini-USB and Micro-HDMI.

Im just looking for assistance on which tablet to purchase,
can anyone tell me if a keyboard is able to be added to the thrive. also is it possible to use google docs or some sort of word, power point, excel program on it?
